About the app

Inpodex POS (package com.inpodex.pos) is made by Inpodex, Lahore, Pakistan. It is a staff app for restaurants that use Inpodex POS — for owners and managers, head waiters, waiters and riders.

There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by the restaurant you work for. The restaurant controls its staff accounts and its data; Inpodex processes that data on the restaurant's behalf.

Data the app uses

  • Your staff account: name, username, role and branch.
  • Login tokens: stored securely on your device so you stay signed in.
  • Restaurant orders: items, amounts and payment status. For deliveries, the customer's name, phone number and address. Order data is shown only to the staff who need it.
  • Push notifications: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token and the app version, used only to send order alerts.

What we don't collect

The app does not collect your location, contacts, camera, photos or microphone. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell data.

The Call, WhatsApp and Maps buttons only open those apps when you tap them. The app doesn't read anything from them.

Service providers

  • Railway — server and database hosting.
  • Google Firebase — push notifications.
  • Vercel — web hosting.

Security

All connections use HTTPS. Access is role-based, and each restaurant's data is kept separate from every other restaurant's.

Delete your account and data (Inpodex POS)

How to request

  1. Ask your restaurant's admin or manager to remove your staff account, or
  2. Email inpodex1@gmail.com from your registered email or phone with the subject "Delete my Inpodex POS data", and include your name, username and restaurant/branch name.

We confirm your identity with the restaurant and complete the request within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your login access and account details (name, username, phone), and the push-notification tokens of your devices.

What is kept

Orders and payments you handled are the restaurant's business and tax records. They stay with the restaurant for as long as the restaurant uses Inpodex POS, and your name may remain on those past records.

Restaurant customers

For customer names, phone numbers and addresses on orders, requests go to the restaurant, which controls that data. We help the restaurant delete it.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
